The road to the Super Bowl in Santa Clara will run through Seattle after the Seahawks’ 13-3 win over San Francisco on Saturday night. The 3 points are the fewest points the 49ers have scored in any game coached by Kyle Shanahan.

Seattle is the NFC’s No. 1 seed for the fourth time in franchise history. The first three times, they went to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks‘ win over the 49ers on Saturday night means the Eagles will face either the Rams or San Francisco if they finish with the No. 3 seed.

If Philadelphia defeats Washington and Chicago loses to Detroit, the Eagles would host the Packers in the wild-card game in back-to-back years. Green Bay is locked into the No. 7 seed.

Wild Card Scenario 2

If the Rams win on Sunday over the Cardinals, Sean McVay’s team will be the No. 5 seed, and the 49ers will be the No. 6 seed. In this scenario, with the Eagles at the No. 3 seed, San Francisco would travel to Philadelphia, and Los Angeles would travel to the NFC South winner.

If the Rams lose to the Cardinals on Sunday, Sean McVay’s team will be the No. 6 seed, and the 49ers will be the No. 5 seed. In this scenario, with the Eagles at the No. 3 seed, the Los Angeles Rams would travel to Philadelphia, and San Francisco would travel to the NFC South winner.
