MUHLENBERG TOWNSHIP., Pa. – Hundreds of runners braved the cold this morning in Berks County to “Shiver by the River”.
More than 200 people gathered to race at Jim Dietrich Park in Muhlenberg Township.
The event was hosted by the Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club.
It’s the first of four planned “Shiver by the River” races this season.
The series was supposed to kick off last month, but had to be rescheduled because of snow.
The next race will be held on Jan. 11.
