DeWayne Thomas
OBITUARY
DeWayne Thomas, 38 of Taylor, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 17, 2025.
He is the son of Gail Hyde Thomas and the late Eugene Thomas.
Born in Scranton, he attended Riverside High School. He excelled at computer science and was an avid gamer. His laughter was silly and sweet and he warmed the hearts of his family and friends. We will all miss him and his heart of gold dearly.
He is survived by his son Ryan of Carbondale. Brother Seth (Stacy) of Avoca, brother Paul (Roxy) of Colorado Springs, CO, sisters, Jelina Brown Cannatelli and Mary Brown of Norwich, CT, sister Amy (Brian) Niewinski of Aaronsburg, sister Heidi (Rich) Keller of Clarks Summit. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial in the spring.
