A sold-out contingent of golfers and guests enjoyed the UNICO National Scranton Chapter’s Charity Golf Tournament in May at Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow. Dunmore native Vic Fangio, defensive coordinator of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, was the tournament honoree and was made an honorary member of the chapter, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Proceeds will benefit the Outreach Center for Community Resources, which helps more than 4,000 adults and children each year to thrive by offering resources for life skills, literacy, employment training, parenting, early childhood education, youth mentoring, behavioral health, wrap-around case management and more. Among the volunteers and contributors to the golf tournament, and members of Fangio’s family, were, from left: Linda Stefursky; Corey Fangio, Outreach president and CEO; Lori Chaffers; chapter President Mike Linko; Ann Genett, Karen Clifford, Adrian Fangio, Beverly Stepniak and Martin Fangio.
