Erie City Council’s 2026 lineup is now official.

At an Erie City Hall ceremony on Jan. 5, new council members Andre Horton and Marilyn Pol, who won seats in November’s municipal election, were sworn in along with Jasmine Flores and Maurice Troop.

The four join Tyler Titus, Ed Brzezinski and Kathy Schaaf on the seven-member, all-Democratic City Council. Horton is a former Erie County Councilman who could not run for re-election to that seat because of county term limit rules. Pol is a former deputy city clerk.
