Overnight closure planned on North Main Street in Pittston

A portion of state Route 11 (North Main Street) in Pittston will be closed from 8 p.m. Jan. 6 to 6 a.m. Jan. 7.

Crews will perform test drilling for underground utility locations.

Traffic will be detoured onto Kennedy Boulevard then back onto Main Street during the overnight closure.

When encountering a work zone, motorists are advised to drive the posted speed limit, turn on headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers and avoid all distractions.
