A Philadelphia man was charged with burglary after a Yeadon resident came home Sunday and found him passed out on the couch.

Yeadon police charged Michael J. Stevens, 50, with burglary, criminal trespass, public drunkenness and loitering.

Borough Police Chief Henry Giammarco said a resident from the 100 block of Baily Road called police on Sunday after arriving home to find Stevens passed out on the couch.

Stevens was arraigned before District Judge Michael A. Burns, who set bail at 10 percent of $125,000, which Stevens has not been able to post. He is now sleeping at Delaware County prison as he awaits a Jan. 20 preliminary hearing before District Judge W. Keith Williams.
