Joan M. Paul (1939 – 2026)
Joan M. Paul, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Paul, who died on May 21, 2025. Born in Bethlehem on April 10, 1939, Joan was the daughter of the late Alex and Alverta (Frey) Mesko. Joan devoted over 30 years of her professional life to education, serving as a French teacher at Nazareth High School until her retirement. She was passionate about language, learning and her students, and she took great pride in her career.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by her brothers, Wayne (Cheryl) Mesko of Riegelsville and Michael Mesko of Springtown.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
