EXETER TWP. Pa. – Exeter Township’s Board of Supervisors held its organizational meeting on Monday night.

George Bell was voted in as chairperson of the board.

Ironically, Bell’s term with the supervisors came full circle since he resigned his position on the Board of Supervisors earlier in 2025. However, it was too late to remove his name from the ballot for the November election, and he ended up finishing second to Amanda Johnsen and won a six-year term along with Johnsen. She also won the election for a two-year term and thus Exeter starts the year with just four supervisors.

Johnsen was elected vice-chairperson and incumbent supervisors Clarence Hamm and Jack Piho were named treasurer and secretary respectively.

Jeff Anderton was named vacancy board chairperson and William Heim was re-named township manager. Sergeant David Bents was re-named emergency management coordinator; Jason Hunter was re-named municipal landfill inspector; and Terry Naugle was re-named building code official and fire code official.
