Winter sowing workshop: Winter sowing hands-on workshop will be presented by Penn State Master Gardeners, Saturday, 10 a.m., community room at Nay Aug Park, 500 Arthur Ave., Scranton. Bus trip: AARP NEPA Chapter 3731 will host a bus trip to the premiere showing of “Joshua” at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster County on May 29. Front-center seats; dinner afterward at the Bird in Hand Smorgasbord is included in the price of $195. Trip is open to the public. Early reservations are suggested.
