SCRANTON, PA — The exhibition “Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe” will be on view at the Everhart Museum starting Wednesday, January 14 and will run until July.

This traveling exhibition immerses visitors in the magnificence and mystery of Hubble’s mission in exploring planets, stars, galaxies and the universe. The exhibition features a scale model of the Hubble Space Telescope as well as several satellite units that offer visitors a hands-on experience.

The exhibition showcases Hubble’s iconic images and data of planets, galaxies, regions around black holes, and many other fascinating cosmic entities that have captivated scientists for centuries.

The Everhart Museum visiting hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fee for adults is $10; seniors and students pay $5; and children under 12, active service members, Veterans, Everhart, North American Reciprocal Museums and Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums members, EBT, SNAP and WIC recipients all get in for free.
