The Philadelphia Fire Department successfully saved a person from the Schuylkill River in Center City on Tuesday afternoon.
The rescue happened at around 2 p.m. near the Market Street Bridge.
Video shared with NBC10 by our news partners, KYW, showed rescue swimmers and other first responders grab the person and hoist them up to safety.
It is unclear how the unidentified person ended up in the water and the incident remains under investigation.
