LOWER MERION — Lower Merion police are investigating a brazen burglary at the Lululemon in Ardmore in the early morning hours of Jan. 6.

According to police, at least two people forced their way into the Suburban Square store around 2 a.m. by smashing the glass of a door and then rushing into the store. They made their way to the men’s section and grabbed items, including coats and shirts.

The stolen merchandise was then loaded into a U-Haul pickup truck, and the burglars fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Woodbine and Bryn Mawr avenues.

Police said the entire incident took just a few minutes. As of early Wednesday morning, a section of the entrance was covered with a banner.

This isn’t the first time the popular store in Ardmore has been hit.

In May 2024, four women entered the store while it was open and grabbed thousands of dollars in merchandise.
