Robert ‘Bobby’ Burke
OBITUARY
Robert Bobby Burke, a lifelong resident of Archbald, passed away on December 30, 2025.
Bobby was born June 2, 1952, son of the late Robert and Lucille Gerrity Burke, educated in the Archbald school system and spent his entire life in the town he proudly called home. Throughout the years, he held various jobs within the community and became a familiar and well-known presence around town. Known to many and familiar to all, Bobby was often seen traveling through Archbald on his jazzy, a sight many came to recognize and cherish.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna L. Yencho.
Bobby is survived by his loving nieces and nephew: Jennifer (Harry) of Danbury, CT; Kimberly Potter (Michael) of Jefferson Township; Krystle Yencho of Jessup; Erica Yencho of Carbondale; Brittany DiLella (Tom) of State College; and Edmund Yencho of Archbald.
Although Bobby did not have a family of his own, he maintained many close friendships throughout his life. He shared a special bond with Lorraine Ambrosia, Bettie Laskosky, and Brian Burke. Known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor, Bobby enjoyed catching up with others and loved to laugh.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of Mid Valley Health Care for the compassionate care provided to him.
Bobby will be remembered as a familiar and enduring presence in the Archbald community.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Harrisons Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Church, Archbald, Pennsylvania, on Friday, January 9th, at 10:00 a.m.
