On this date, the Armenian Orthodox community in Iran celebrates Christmas. Concurrently, on January 6, the religious ceremony of the Blessing of Water and Holy Communion was held at the historic Bethlehem Church in the Jolfa district of Isfahan, with the participation of members of the Armenian Orthodox community.
