Abington Heights sweeps meets against West Scranton – Scranton Times-Tribune

Jason Casper had wins in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500 free, and was part of two winning relay teams to lead undefeated Abington Heights to a 143-40 win over West Scranton on Thursday night in a Lackawanna League boys swimming meet.

Geoff Stanton added wins in the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke, and also contributed to a pair of wins in the relays for the Comets. Charles Voytek won the 100 free and the 100 breaststroke and helped Abington Heights win the 200 free relay.

Girls swimming

Hadley Pallman swept the two distance races, Gianna Vachino won the two sprints, and Kacey Johnson won the 200 individual medley and the 100 fly to lead Abington Heights to a 120-44 win over West Scranton.

Sofia Mirza won diving, Audra Wimmer added a win in the 100 back, and Ella Bannon won the 100 breaststroke for the Lady Comets.
