Historian Keith Lockhart has a seemingly inexhaustible amount of photos, postcards and photo-based illustrations from days gone by in Delaware County, and he’s trying to keep the best records that he can, and that’s where you come in.

This week it’s a postcard from about 1920 of Cherry Street in Collingdale. Keith is looking for an exact location in terms of blocks and cross streets and an orientation of the photo. There’s not a vehicle in sight.

Think you know something? Keith’s email is keith106@rcn.com. Check out more from Keith at delawarecountyhistory.com.

Here’s what you had to say about last week’s photo from Marcus Hook:

• “The photograph shows the intersection of 10th Street and Market Street in Marcus Hook.  The view is looking East towards Post Road and Chester.  The drug store is on the South East corner of the intersection. The trolley line of the Southern Pennsylvania Traction Company can be seen in the street. It curves from 10th Street onto Market Street and heads down to the Delaware River.  The tall stack behind the drug store may be part of the American Viscose plant farther east on 10th Street.” — David Burns

• “The view is of the intersection of 10th St. and Market St. looking east on 10th St. from Market St. towards McClure Lane.” —Dennis & Jack McKnight
