Allentown School District breaks ground on new family and community resource center | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Allentown School district is introducing a new kind of support to the community.

The district broke ground Friday on a new Family and Community Resource Center.

The center will provide GED and ESL classes, as well as mental and physical health resources.

It’s on the campus of the Bridgeview Academy on Lehigh Street.

The funds came from a more than $500,000 grant received by the school.
