Gavin Bryne’s pin at 160 pounds built a sufficient lead for Ridley to hold off Lower Merion, 39-30, in a Central League match.

He followed Luke Senkow’s tech fall at 152 to stake Ridley to a 39-6 lead. The Green Raiders won seven of the first nine matches, with pins by Chase Masciarelli at 107 pounds, Brayden Laird at 127 and Jackson Chadlee at 139.

Springfield 60, Harriton 15 >> Pins by Nick Borrelli at 107 pounds and Enzo Trivarelli at 114 started the Cougars on the way to victory. All 10 of Springfield’s wins came via fall, with a run of three — Tyler Rush at 172, Edward Ashbridge at 189 and Alex McGinnis at 215 — sealing the win.

Radnor 52, Penncrest 16 >> Radnor started with five straight pins on the way to a lopsided victory.

Alex Balbanyan (at 107 pounds) and Kyle Tomczak (at 114) scored pins in less than a minute. Dante Pasquarelo’s decision at 145 capped a run of seven straight wins to open the match, and Michael Stasen (189) and Tyler Rath (215) added pins late.

Chase Worley scored a major decision for Penncrest at 152, and Owen Lynch scored a pin at 285.

Garnet Valley 65, Conestoga 6 >> Dylan Kessler’s pin at 107 pounds started the Jaguars on the way to winning 12 of 13 matches. Paxton Hunt’s pin at 215 and Nicholas Potts’ major decision at 285 capped it.

In the Ches-Mont League:

Sun Valley 52, Unionville 12 >> Josh DeOrio’s tech fall at 107 pounds and one by Darren Miniconzi at 127 bookended a four-bout winning streak to open the match. Tyler Hudson, Cole Tinsley, Nathan Micun and Nick Nawn guaranteed the win with four straight pins from 145 to 172.

In a nonleague match:

Upper Darby 42, Academy Park 35 >> Joshua Bahamonde’s pin at 114 pounds was the first of six straight wins by fall for the Royals to take the match. Sazid Tanjim (121), Antonio Rodia (127), Connor Kime (133), Jordan Lowery (139) and Vincenzo Rodia (145) followed with pins.

AP’s surge came too late. Mamood Kamara won by tech fall at 172. Joel Omo-Osagie, Daniel Agbemehia and Amir Fisher followed with pins.
