(WHTM) — A 13-day tour will help kick off Pennsylvania’s celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States.

America250PA is launching its Statewide Semiquincentennial County Kick-Off Tour this Friday, Jan. 16.

County kick-off ceremonies will highlight each county’s unique history, local partnerships, and their role in the celebration.

Local events include:

Lancaster County: Saturday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. at the courthouse, 50 N. Duke Street, Lancaster;

Lebanon County: Saturday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Lebanon County Historical Society, 924 Cumberland Street, Lebanon;

Perry County: Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 5:45 p.m. at the courthouse, 2 East Main Street, New Bloomfield;

Dauphin County: Thursday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at the courthouse, 101 East Market Street Harrisburg;

York County: Thursday, Jan. 22 at 11:45 a.m. at the York County Administrative Center, 28 East Market Street, York;

Adams County: Thursday, Jan. 22 at 1:45 p.m. at the Hotel Gettysburg, 1 Lincoln Square, Gettysburg;

Franklin County: Thursday, Jan. 22 at 3:45 p.m. at the Franklin County Visitors Bureau, 15 South Main Street, Chambersburg;

Fulton County: Thursday, Jan. 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the courthouse, 201 North Second Street, McConnellsburg;

Mifflin County: Thursday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. at the courthouse, 20 North Wayne Street, Lewistown;

Juniata County: Thursday, Jan. 29 at 11:30 a.m. at the courthouse, 1 North Main Street, Mifflintown;

Cumberland County; Thursday, Jan. 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the historical courthouse, 2 Courthouse Square, Carlisle.
