SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — A day after needing to close, the Viewmont Mall is back open.
On Thursday, the Viewmont Mall was closed due to a gas leak and on Friday, after the all clear from the Scranton Fire Department, the mall was fully open to the public again.

A representative from the Viewmont Mall said in a statement, “Viewmont Mall reopened today after receiving clearance from the Scranton Fire Department. While a small number of tenants are continuing to coordinate with UGI, the mall is open to the public.”
