The National Weather Service (NWS) warned of hazardous driving conditions for parts of central Pennsylvania on Sunday, January 11, as several rounds of snow squalls and showers moved through the region.
Erick Kirchner, who operates under the X handle @WeatherFixErick, captured this footage showing conditions on Interstate 99 near East Freedom, which is located about 95 miles east of Pittsburgh. The NWS warned of whiteout conditions and “life-threatening travel” on Sunday.
