Ross Township vape shops raided in drug bust

Detectives with the Allegheny County Police Department uncovered a ‘large-scale illegal marijuana sales operation.’According to the department, the Narcotics Unit executed search warrants at two registered vape shops in Ross Township Friday.Authorities say the busts were made at Smoke World and Vape and Powerful Smoke, both on McKnight Road.Authorities say they seized more than two kilograms of marijuana and thousands of illegal THC and psilocybin-infused products. More than $9,000 was seized from the store. The investigation is ongoing. County police say they are working with the district attorney’s office.

According to the department, the Narcotics Unit executed search warrants at two registered vape shops in Ross Township Friday.

Authorities say the busts were made at Smoke World and Vape and Powerful Smoke, both on McKnight Road.
