LOWER MACUNGIE, Pa. – The Lower Macungie Fire Department has announced the passing of Jim VanWert, who served with the department for 45 years.
Jim held various roles during his time, including nearly 25 years as Assistant Fire Chief.
The department expressed that Jim’s commitment and dedication will not be forgotten.
Officials are asking the community to keep Jim’s family and friends in their thoughts and prayers.
