BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — TGI Fridays is back in business in Bensalem.
TGI Assistant Manager Kimberly Martin said the restaurant near the Parx Casino has reopened.
“We are back and better than ever,” Martin told Patch. “We are under new management with a fresh menu, and a new, creative cocktail experience at our fully functional bar.”
The revamped eatery boasts two happy hours with $5 cocktails running from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Patrons can also enjoy half-price appetizers from 9 p.m. to close.
For Dry January, the restaurant has also recently unveiled a new set of mocktails alongside various appetizer combination platters. There’s also the Treat Yourself Trio.
“We reopened and just got our liquor license back,” Martin said. She said a grand reopening took place right after Thanksgiving.
About a year ago, TGIF Fridays closed its Street Road location over bankruptcy procedures for the national franchise.
The closure marked a trend of others in the Philadelphia region, with the location at the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown Township closing in late 2024. Several TGI Fridays locations were also shuttered, including three in New Jersey recently.
In January 2025, TGI Fridays announced the closures of 36 “underperforming” restaurants.
