In the deadly shooting of an Erie man by a state parole agent last summer, new details came forward this afternoon.
Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook confirms Marchello Woodard had a quote, “lethal level of cocaine in his system,” at the time he was shot by Pennsylvania State Parole Agent Kevin Seelinger during a compliance check.
Cook ruled Woodard’s death as a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds.
The incident remains under review as the legal process still continues with charges filed against the officer involved.
