A juvenile is in custody after a man was shot to death Tuesday morning in Duncannon, Perry County. Authorities responded to a call for a man with a gunshot wound around 3 a.m. at a home on South Market Street. Inside, responders found Douglas Dietz, 42, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to a statement from the Perry County District Attorney’s Office. “Investigators determined that a juvenile household member was involved in the incident. The juvenile was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held pending further proceedings,” a statement from the DA said. “Due to the age of the individual involved, no identifying information regarding the juvenile will be released. The investigation remains active and ongoing.”Pennsylvania State Police are investigating. Anyone who may have information that could help is encouraged to call PSP.WGAL has a crew in Duncannon.
