At city hall on Monday, four members of council and the city controller were sworn in.
Stepping into the city controller was Brooke Sanfillipo, and taking the oath for the city council were Jasmine Flores, Andre Horton, Marilyn Pol, and Mo Troop.

The council members told reporter Jade Leah Burns what they are looking forward to within their next four-year term.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the new administration. She cares about housing, she cares about parks and recreation, those are two areas I’ve been pushing really hard the last four years,” said Flores.
“I am excited about working with the colleagues and the administration here because over at the county, for the last four years were pretty challenging,” said Horton.
“I look forward to working with this new administration. I think it will be a breath of fresh air,” said Pol. “The administration and council need to work together because were working towards the same goal.”
“We got a new mayor, I know she’s got a lot of visions for Erie. I’m looking forward to working with her and helping Erie move forward,” said Troop.
