One man is being charged in connection with a firearm that was stolen and used in a deadly shooting back in December, Scranton Police say.
SCRANTON, Pa. — A Lackawanna County man is facing charges in connection with a firearm used in a deadly shooting, police say.Â
Police were called to the 1300 block of Bryn Mawr Street in West Scranton back in mid-December and found a 16-year-old, Dylan Smith, with a gunshot wound. Smith later died at the hospital.Â
In an update on Tuesday, Scranton Police say they made an arrest on Friday in connection with the firearm that was used in the deadly shooting, which was reported stolen two weeks ago in Archbald.
Joseph Barbarino, 19, of Dickson City, was charged with receiving stolen property, firearm sales, and related offenses.Â
