Hopewell Valley wins last five weights to down Allentown – Trentonian

Storming from behind with wins in the last five weights, the Hopewell Valley wrestling team defeated Allentown, 44-28, Tuesday night.

After Allentown pinned at heavyweight and then win three of the four lower weights, Hopewell swept 132 through 157 with bonus points in all those weights. In that run was a technical fall by Thomas Davila and pins by Tyler Ansari and Isaac Miller. Dylan Hersh also had a solid 13-3 major over Anderson Du Brul at 138 pounds.

In other Colonial Valley Conference action, Hightstown blasted West Windsor North, 61-13, as it tuned up for a home match against Steinert on Wednesday night.

Burlington County winners included Northern Burlington, Pemberton and Bordentown/Florence.
