WILKES-BARRE — A Jenkins Township man accused by Jenkins Township police with aiming a firearm at a woman and her daughter had the most serious charges withdrawn against him during a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court.
Police charged Michael Sekusky, 40, of Charles Place, after investigating a domestic disturbance at his residence on Oct. 25, according to court records.
A woman told police she was involved in an argument with Sekusky and went to the garage, where the child told her, “he has a gun,” court records allege.
The woman allegedly told police Sekusky said to her, “this is it,”and aimed the firearm at her.
Prosecutors withdrew a felony aggravated assault offense and misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and terroristic threats against Sekusky.
Sekusky waived a misdemeanor charge of criminal attempt to commit simple assault to the Court of Common Pleas.
