Pennsylvania has been without a state budget for over 100 days.

It’s the only state in the country without a budget in place.

State Rep. Pat Harkins from Erie County’s First District is making a plea to Republicans.

He spent last week talking with local business owners in the City of Erie.

Their first question to Harkins, “when will this end”?

He has an answer for them.

Counties, School Districts and non-profits rely on State funding.

They are being forced to make some difficult operating choices.
