* WHAT…Heavy lake enhanced snow. Snow accumulations of 6 to 15
inches, with the lighter amounts north of I-90 and the greatest
amounts in the higher terrain of southern Erie and northern
Crawford Counties.
* WHERE…Crawford and Northern Erie Counties.
* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult due to slick and snow
covered roads and reduced visibility. Patchy blowing snow is
likely tonight and Thursday. The hazardous conditions will impact
the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rain will quickly change to accumulating snow
late this afternoon. Rapidly falling temperatures will lead to
roads becoming snow covered and icy this evening, with very poor
road conditions expected tonight into Thursday. Minimum wind
chills of near 0 degrees are expected late tonight and Thursday
morning.
