Gary Weese
OBITUARY
Gary Weese, 71, of Scranton, passed away Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton after an illness.
Born August 23, 1954 in Kalamazoo, MI, son of the late Walter and Catherine Ward Weese, Gary was employed as a contractor by Specialty Fence Company. A loving father, grandfather, and brother, Gary had a work ethic like no other. Providing for his family was his top priority, and family was his life. Later on in life, Gary enjoyed taking walks and reading books. Taken too soon, he has left a legacy that will live on for generations to come.
Surviving are: his children, Gary McNees, Kalamazoo, MI, Joseph Weese, Lewistown, PA, twins, Kim and Krystal Walsh, Dickson City; 6 or 7 grandchildren; sisters Diane Little, and Melody Lee, and husband, Paul; several nieces and nephews. His son, Erich Weese preceded him in 2023, along with brothers, Walter, Daniel, and Thomas Weese, and a brother-in-law, William Little.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be Sunday , January 18th, from 2pm to 6pm at the Throop VFW Located at 179 Boulevard Ave in Throop. Arrangements are private under the care of the Kevin K.
