PHILADELPHIA — Pop superstar Bruno Mars last week announced his new world tour would make a stop in Philadelphia.
And due to overwhelming demand from fans, Mars has added a slew of additional shows, including another Philly concert, to his “The Romantic Tour.”
Mars will now play on both Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Anderson Paak, performing at DJ Pee .Wee, and RAYE will join him at both concerts.
Tickets for the Sept. 2 concert, and remaining tickets for the previously announced concert, will be available during the general on-sale beginning at noon Thursday online here.
This new tour follows Mars’ international touring run and Las Vegas residency. In early 2024, Mars became the first international artist of the 21st century to hold seven consecutive sold-out concerts at the Tokyo Dome. He also achieved the highest-grossing tour in Brazilian history in the fall of 2024.
The tour announcement follows news of Bruno’s fourth solo album, “The Romantic,” set to arrive on Feb. 27, via Atlantic Records. The project’s first single will be released Friday. The album follows recent chart successes, including the Grammy-winning “Die With A Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT.” with ROSÉ.
