Roy Ayala set a pool record in the 100-yard breaststroke, had a win in the 200 individual medley, and contributed to a win in the 400 free relay to lead West Scranton to a 117-53 win over Holy Cross on Thursday in Lackawanna League boys swimming.

Ayala posted a time of 1 minute, 1.17 seconds to win the 100 breaststroke. He was pushed to the record by his brother, Jordan Ayala, who finished second in the race. Jordan also had a win in the 100 butterfly and was part of the winning 400 free relay with Roy.

Michael Davis added a win in the 100 backstroke, and the Invaders swept the three relays.

Leo Cholish (200 free, 500 free) and Simon Madore (50 free, 100 free) had wins for Holy Cross.

Delaware Valley 130, Elk Lake 43: Ryan O’Connell, John Calabria, and Samuel Fisher each won two individual events to lead the undefeated Warriors to a Lackawanna League win.

Delaware Valley capitalized on its roster depth and closed the meet with a win in the 400-yard free relay to defeat Elk Lake, 93-83, in the Lackawanna League.

Chloe Cruz won in the 200 free and the 100 breaststroke for Delaware Valley.

Brynn Warriner (50 free, 100 free), Chelsea Grosvenor (200 IM, 100 fly), Taylor States (diving), Alayna Stang (500 free), and McKenna Puterbaugh (100 back) had individual wins for Elk Lake. The Lady Warriors also won the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.

Ava Kochmer won the 200 free and 50 free, Anna Polishan won the 100 free, and Claire Polishan won the 500 free to lead Holy Cross.
