Sportsmen meet: Factoryville Sportsmen’s Club meeting, Jan. 28, 7:30 p.m., clubhouse. Dues for FY 2026 are being collected. Lenten food sales: Christ Episcopal Church, 700 Delaware St., is conducting its annual pizza, soup, Welsh cookies and cabbage noodles sale to benefit the church’s community programs. The fundraiser will run from Feb. 20-April 3 and will consist of take-and-bake 12 slices of red pizza for $17 or take-and-bake pagash (potato, cheese) for $19. Please call and preorder pizza. Also available are pints of homemade assorted soups for $5, cabbage and noodles for $7 and Welsh cookies for $7 a dozen. Stop by the church on Fridays, 3-5:30 p.m., to pick up your favorites. Test strategies workshop: “Test Strategies that Change the Game” free workshop open to those age 15 and older, Thursday, with two sessions available: 12:30-4 p.m. or 5:30-9 p.m., Ideal Saldi Hall, Scranton Campus, Johnson College. This dynamic workshop helps students unlock peak test performance through effective study strategies and time management. Participants will learn a proven, step-by-step system to organize and retain information, understand exam structure, eliminate incorrect answers and improve accuracy. Pa. EMS continuing education credit is included (3.5 hours other). Space is limited to 65 students.
