ALLENTOWN, Pa. — From one city to another: A bakery in Lehigh County has made its first (and only) delivery to New York City.
Mary Ann Donut Kitchen shared on a Facebook post Thursday that they drove a truck straight to the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
The reason for the special delivery? A shoutout on the national television program by Allentown native, Amanda Seyfried.

Seyfried was a guest on the show on Tuesday night, where she highlighted several Lehigh Valley businesses and local events during the show’s “Community Calendar” segment.
Mary Ann Donut Kitchen was shouted out for its Fastnacht Day event by Seyfried herself.
The bakery said that numerous people gave them the idea to deliver donuts to the show after the shoutout.

“Now The Late Show with Stephen Colbert crew will be enjoying donuts straight from Allentown today. #SimplytheBest,” the bakery said in a post.
