“Pressing Environmental Toxicants of our Region” will address critical issues affecting our communities and beyond beginning at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at the Erickson Alumni Center.

The meeting will include the following:

• A discussion on diverse symposia covering local, regional and global toxicants, toxicity across the life course, and environmental and public health impacts.

• Sarah Commodore, an assistant professor of environmental and occupational health at Indiana University, will present on the hidden health hazards from electronic cigarettes.

• Networking opportunities with leading researchers and practitioners in environmental toxicology.

• Student-focused programming, including “Lunch with an Expert” sessions.

• Poster sessions and awards recognizing excellent research.

Registration is free for undergraduate students and chaperones.
