BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The township’s annual Unity Week starts Monday with events planned on the federal holiday honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

Building a Better Bensalem Together has rolled out the schedule for Unity Week, which will only be events scheduled over three days this year. See the schedule below

“For more than 20 years, Bensalem Unity Week has been a proud tradition — celebrating the rich religious diversity that makes our township so special,” the organization said. “As the only known township to host an event like this, we’ve always believed that unity, understanding, and culture are worth celebrating together.”

This year, though, there are fewer Unity Day events during the week itself, the organization said.

“That’s intentional and exciting,” organizers saiid.

Building a Better Bensalem Together said the shift reflects “our ongoing commitment to celebrating our religious cultures and welcoming the community throughout the entire year,” not just one week.

“By spreading events out, we hope more neighbors can join in, connect, and enjoy the experience along the way,” Building a Better Bensalem Together said.
