• The Rev. Dr. Domenik Ackermann will be installed as the settled pastor of Maidencreek Church, 261 Main St., Maidencreek Township, on Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. Doors open at 2:45. Ackermann comes to Maidencreek with an extensive background in youth ministry, pastoral leadership and interfaith dialogue. He most recently served as the pastor at Eliot Church in Newton, Mass., and previously as the associate minister for education at West Parish Church in Andover, Mass. Ackermann brings a deep academic foundation to his ministry. He earned his Ph.D. from the Boston College Theology Department, where his research focused on Jewish and Christian understandings of prayer. Before his tenure in Massachusetts, he served as a research associate at Paderborn University in Germany. During his time there, he oversaw the implementation of an innovative interfaith worship and education center. Presiding officers for the installation will be the Rev. Kevin McLemore, Regional Conference Minister of the Keystone Conference (United Church of Christ) and Bishop Christopher DeForest, Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

• Mike and Linda Hertzog will present the Pennsylvania German New Year’s Wish during the 10:15 a.m. service on Sunday at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ of Molltown, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township.

• Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 170 Tuckerton Road, Muhlenberg Township, will have a free chili meal for the community today from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the social hall. There will be a Rejoicing Spirits service on Sunday from 2-3 p.m. with a half-hour of singing and storytelling followed by refreshments and a craft activity.

• The 21st Century Christian Women’s Fellowship will meet at United Church of Christ of Robesonia, 301 W. Penn Ave., on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Zoom Bible study will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Email mestme@aol.com for the link. Bible study with the book “Breaking the Code” will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

• Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County, will hold Coffee and Conversation on Sunday at 8:30 and 10 a.m. in the Welcome Center. Brown bag Bible study will be held on Wednesday at noon. Bring lunch if you wish as well as a Bible.

• The Rev. Robert Argot Sr. will be the guest pastor for the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Salem Lutheran Church, 8410 Lancaster Ave., Bethel Township. Social time follows the service.
