Ruth A. Hill
OBITUARY
Ruth A. Hill, 83, formerly of Ontelaunee Twp., passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Keystone Villa at Fleetwood. She was the wife of Wayne R. Hill, who died June 2, 2024.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ralph J. and Anna S. (Roth) Lash. Ruth worked for Campbell’s Mushrooms. She was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perry Twp. Ruth was the financial secretary for the Shoemakersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Ruth is survived by three children: Carol A. (Hill) Ralston, wife of Christopher, Minersville; Nancy L. (Hill) Holland, wife of Keith, Fleetwood; and Archie L. Hill, husband of JoAnne, Kutztown; six grandchildren: Chris Schaeffer, Patrick Schaeffer, Josh Schaeffer (Katie), Justin Schaeffer, Daniel Schaeffer and Jennifer Schwegler (Shawn); and five great-grandchildren: Blake, Jemma and Weston Schaeffer; and Abigail and Jonathan Schwegler. She is also survived by a brother: Clarence Lash (Brenda), Hamburg.
Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Becker’s St. Peter’s Cemetery, Molltown. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Monday 9:00-10:30 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of one’s choice. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
