BUFFALO, N.Y. — The National Weather Service has issued a Snow Squall Warning for parts of Western New York.

The warning is in place for Erie County, Niagara County, Chautauqua County, Cattaraugus County, Genesee County, Wyoming County, and Orleans County until 3:30 p.m. due to a dangerous snow squall located in the area.

Intense bursts of heavy snow are possible, as well as gusty winds leading to blowing snow, potentially causing limited visibility. The National Weather Service advises motorists to slow down and be prepared for possible sudden whiteout conditions.
