Brian Daboll and Mike McDaniel are among the Eagles’ top OC targets
The Athletic’s Dianni Rusinni reports that Former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel and former Giants head coach Brian Daboll are at the top of the Eagles’ list of OC Candidates. Both are head coaching targets, but McDaniel is prepared to take an elite playcaller job over a mediocre head coaching job.
Eagles interviewed Falcons OC Zac Robinson
Adam Schefter reports that Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson is interviewing today in Philadelphia for the Eagles’ offensive coordinator job on Friday. Another coach off the Sean McVay or Kyle Shanahan school of thought, Robinson, might be the perfect candidate, as he was the Los Angeles Rams‘ passing-game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for two years before his move to Atlanta, where he helped Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts develop into an explosive offensive unit.

Kafka was once a backup quarterback for the Eagles before joining Andy Reid’s coaching staff and developing into one of the NFL’s bright young minds. Kafka started his ascent as a Northwestern University offensive graduate assistant in 2016. Kafka joined Andy Reid’s staff in 2017 as the offensive quality control coach, before being named quarterbacks coach in 2018. In 2020, he was named passing game coordinator in Kansas City before joining Brian Daboll in New York as offensive coordinator.
