Erie was host to a long-standing annual gathering on Saturday morning focused on the pro-life movement.
The 48th annual Pro-Life Breakfast took place, organized by Erie’s People for Life, a local right-to-life organization that has been active in the community for decades.
Organizers said the event brings together hundreds of supporters for fellowship, prayer and discussion about issues surrounding the protection of unborn life.

This year’s breakfast also featured guest speakers who addressed the group on advocacy, education and their mission moving forward in Erie.
Lydia Taylor Davis, National spokesperson for Students for Life of America, said, “Today at the breakfast we heard from a variety of many speakers, one of the speakers was a young student with one of our student for life groups who shared about the efforts on campus and how we have to stand up and be bold and how people need to care about abortion.”
The event is held each year near the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v Wade decision.
