Michael J. ‘Mike’ Craig
OBITUARY
Michael J. Mike Craig, aged 83, of 326 Wayne Street, Archbald, passed away on January 10, 2026, surrounded by his family at Mid Valley Healthcare Center in Blakely, PA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Joyce Gibbons Craig, with whom he celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on January 7, 2026.
Born and raised in Archbald, Mike was the son of the late James F. Craig and Catherine Gerrity Craig. He was a proud graduate of Archbald High School and a devoted member of St Thomas Aquinas Church (Christ the King Parish) in Archbald. Mike worked as a delivery driver for Stegmaier Beer and served as a part-time Archbald Police Officer.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, their three children, Michael (Lauren) Craig of Dover, PA, Colleen (Kevin) Janeski of Jessup, PA, and Patrick (Kelly) Craig of Spring Grove, PA, as well as five cherished grandchildren: Nora Craig, MaryAlice Craig, Riley Janeski, Kaden Craig, and Kerrigan Craig. Mike was preceded in death by his two brothers, James Craig and Robert Choppy Craig, and his sister, Mary Ann Rutsky.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Mid Valley Health Care Center for their compassionate care over the past several months.
Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm at Harrison Funeral Home, 374 Main Street, Archbald, PA. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (Christ the King Parish), Archbald, PA, with interment at Parish Cemetery immediately following the funeral Mass.
