(WHTM) — Several Pennsylvania roadways have had their speed limits reduced due to the recent winter storms.
PennDOT is advising citizens to avoid unnecessary travel, and the following roads are having their speed limits reduced to 45 mph:
Interstate 78 in Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
Interstate 80 in Carbon and Monroe counties.
Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.
Interstate 380 in Monroe County.
US 22 in Lehigh and Northampton counties.
Route 33 in Monroe and Northampton counties.

PennDOT says on these roadways, commercial vehicles not affected by restrictions must move to the right lane.
