This event is designed for gamebird breeders and propagators, hunting preserve owners and operators, and sportsmen and sportswomen. The conference will include educational presentations, updates from industry commissions and associations, and networking opportunities.
This year’s conference will cover various topics, including, but not limited to, disease and industry updates, HPAI preparedness and response, manure broker-hauler policies, AI for bird counting, IPM for darkling beetles, and a compost demonstration with training on an active windrow.
The conference will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on February 23 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on February 24 at the Ag Progress Days Fairgrounds. The conference registration cost is $175, and discounted hotel rates at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center are available with a requested code.
