(KNSI) — The Kids and Parents Expo returns on Saturday morning, harnessing the craziness of trick-or-treating but in a safe and productive way.
The event runs from 9:00 to noon at the River’s Edge Convention Center. Leighton Media Executive Director of Events Cole Erie promises everything from laser tag to a costume contest, bounce houses, and a Play-Doh station, all organized with kids in mind.
“The whole idea is to create a really fun event for the kids that keeps them busy for a few hours.”
For those dressing up, Erie encourages people to get creative with their outfits, but he does ask people to remember that young children are the primary audience for the expo. Costumes should be family friendly and not too scary.
Erie promises not to break the bank for those in attendance. Erie says, “Tickets are only available at the door. Kids are free. Adults are just ten bucks.”
The Kids and Parents Expo has become a staple in St. Cloud on the weekend before Halloween. It has even caught on in the rest of the downtown community. Several businesses will be handing out candy to the little ones if they swing by after the event.
