(WJET/WFXP)– Pothole season has arrived in the City of Erie and to help stay on top of it, officials are asking the public to report any they find.

The cold and snowy season, combined with temperatures warming up just enough, has brought back pothole season and City of Erie residents can report them either over the phone or online.

For callers, the city is asking tipsters to share the nearest address if possible, or provide nearby cross streets along with a brief description of the location. Tips can also be made online with a photo.

The City of Erie is bordered by the Bay/Lake Erie to the north, Pittsburgh Avenue to the west, Bird Drive to the east, and Grandview to the south.
